How we made this website

The StrangeBanana Connection

StrangeBanana helped create this site. The site has a random graphic webpage generator. Each time you visit or refresh the page you get a new unique webpage design. I copied the XHTML and CSS code. Then made a few changes to fit my ideas.

The Beginning

I followed the tutorials at the W3C School for HTML, XHTML, and CSS to develop an understanding of the language and syntax. Slowly the light began to dawn on me and with a lot of trial and error behind me I felt it was time to get creative. Top of Page

The Middle

Well, I wasn't quite ready just yet. Looking at the source code for many simple sites helped now that I was more familiar with the tags, selectors, and attributes. Then I stumbled across StrangeBanana and there was free code that I was encouraged to use. No longer was I starting with a blank sheet of paper. Once I had the design, it was time to make a template and start making the pages. And that brings us to right about now. Top of Page
